Dr. Boos graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Chemistry. She attended medical school at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, where she received the Olin Fellowship. Following medical school, Dr. Boos completed her internship at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and her residency at UCLA Santa Monica Family Practice. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Boos is board certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Family Physicians
