Board Certified Family Practice
Dr. Hennan joined Newport Family Medicine in the summer of 2007. She trained in Long Beach after finishing medical school in Vermont. Board certified in family medicine Dr. Hennan takes care of all ages. Most of her patients are young women and children. However, she does enjoy her male patients, usually brought in by an already established relative. Guys never seem to want to go to the doctor. Dr. Hennan enjoys women's health, adolescent health (family medicine is a great transition for kids ready to leave their pediatrician), sports medicine and taking care of pediatrics from birth. Personal: She lives in Orange County with her husband and sons. Andrew, her oldest, plays football for El Toro High School. Carter, born in 2008, is into sports and his trucks. Xavier, born in 2011, is sitting up and loves to eat.Sports fans, her family are supporters of the Dodgers, the Lakers, and the Raiders. Dr. Hennan looks forward to March Madness every year. She also likes to run, lift weights, travel and try out new restaurants, but with three boys this seems to be on hold for now.
