Taylor is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Newport Family Medicine, she worked at a family practice providing care for medically underserved populations in Santa Ana. Taylor has been a board member for the Orange County Chapter of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners for multiple years, earning herself the title of chapter President in 2018.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She then began her medical career in Connecticut working as a Registered Nurse at the Clinton Harbor Group Home, an intermediate care facility for people with disabilities. Taylor then went on to pursue her passion of health promotion and disease prevention by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing Science degree at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).
Taylor’s practice of medicine is guided by her caring, competent and compassionate nature. She takes pride in spending quality time with her patients and establishing therapeutic relationships.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Taylor is a true New Englander at heart. However, her decision to attend UCI introduced her to a newfound love for the West Coast. Outside of her professional life, she loves spending quality time with friends and family. She is energized by outdoor activities, including hiking and skiing and is an avid cycler and certified yoga instructor.
She enjoys cooking, baking and gardening, and getting lost in good movies or novels. She finds peace in writing and painting. Ultimately, Taylor lives for adventure and loves to travel, both for leisure and to serve on medical mission trips.
